ICT manages supplier qualification and ongoing quality oversight as a core service not an afterthought. Here is the structured process applied to every new program, regardless of country of origin.

Supplier Identification & Pre-Audit

ICT’s regional offices in India (Pune), China, Malaysia, and Singapore conduct on-site pre-audits covering equipment capability, QMS documentation, production capacity, and financial stability before any program is placed.

Design for Manufacturability Review

Before tooling is committed, ICT’s engineering team reviews part prints for tolerance stack-up, material compatibility, and process fit flagging issues that would create cost or schedule problems in production. DFM findings are documented and fed into work instructions.

APQP / PPAP Program Management

ICT manages the full Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) cycle and PPAP submission dimensional reports, material certs, process capability (Cpk) studies, control plans, and DFMEAs all delivered to the OEM’s documentation standard, regardless of where the supplier is located.

First-Article Inspection & CMM Reporting

Every new program requires a first-article inspection (FAI) with CMM dimensional report. ICT coordinates inspection at the supplier, at a third-party inspection house, or domestically depending on program criticality and customer requirements.

Production Monitoring & Supplier Scorecards

Active programs are tracked via supplier scorecards measuring on-time delivery, PPM defect rate, and responsiveness. Corrective action requests (CARs) are issued, tracked, and closed. ICT’s in-country teams conduct periodic production audits throughout the program life.

Material Traceability & Certification

Mill certifications, certificates of conformance, and lot traceability records are provided with every production shipment. For medical and defense programs, full serialized traceability is maintained from raw material heat to finished part.

What casting processes does ICT support, and what are the tolerance ranges?

ICT supports sand casting (CT8–CT10, ±0.030″–0.060″), investment casting (CT4–CT6, ±0.005″–0.015″), gravity/permanent mold casting, and high-pressure die casting (CT5–CT7, ±0.003″–0.010″). All castings include first-article dimensional layout and in-process quality checks. Materials include aluminum alloys (A356, 380, A380), gray iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, and copper alloys.

Yes. ICT manages the complete APQP and PPAP submission workflow for offshore manufacturing partners including dimensional reports, material certifications, process capability (Cpk) studies, control plans, and DFMEAs to OEM documentation standards regardless of supplier location.
